Speedrun Academy
A 3D platformer we shipped on Steam, built live on Twitch with the Quebec speedrun community. 100% positive reviews.
Patch 'Jungle'
Planned 2026The story doesn't end at launch. We keep the game alive with major updates. The Jungle patch introduces new mechanics and extended environments.
Early Access Steam
May 2025The official Early Access launch on Steam. A major milestone to validate our core mechanics with the public, especially the Gainer and Vertical Gainer systems.
The concept: perfect jumps let players build speed and height, opening unexpected shortcuts across visually striking environments, from volcanic peaks to frozen summits. It's a first-person game where everything revolves around momentum.
Steam Leaderboard integration instantly pushed players to grind for a spot at the top of the global rankings.
Within the first week, a QoL patch shipped with a new visual identity, a level selection screen, a full playable tutorial, and a secret level. Development always followed community priorities, with no rigid roadmap. We worked on whatever the team and players were excited about.
“If you want a 3d platformer to speedrun then this was made for it. Coyote jumps makes you gain more speed and jump higher so it's a risk vs reward thing that is really fun to master.”
“There is something here for both hard core speed runners who run for perfection, and casual players who are satisfied with finishing a challenging course. Overall a fun game you can pick up and play.”
“SPEEDRUN TABARNAK!”
“Cool little speedrun parkour game! The kind of game that you first beat in 30 minutes but you will most likely spend a few extra hours grinding for a better run.”

NoReset6 Event
March 2025Months of community-driven development came together at NoReset6, a charity event in Montreal.
We ran a 30-minute live segment end to end: from the technical setup to hosting on stage in front of a passionate crowd, including organizing a competitive speedrun tournament on our own game.
The tournament format was built for spectacle: a 4-player Free For All with simultaneous runs. The rule was simple: best time only, reset allowed. Players had a time limit to record the best possible time, with the freedom to restart their run as many times as they wanted.

Pitch & Development
Dec 2024 – Jan 2025Michael got the chance to participate in a Twitch reality show. After passing auditions and getting confirmed, he pitched the host directly: build a custom speedrun challenge as an in-show event, using a game made specifically for it.
The game was designed and developed as a custom Steam title for the community. The emphasis was on building live on Twitch, creating a fast feedback loop and genuine community engagement.
Teammates joined the project naturally, drawn in by the live development streams. The transparency of the process and the community energy attracted collaborators who wanted to be part of the adventure.

Jern Jam
Fall 2024In two weeks, we designed and shipped Giddy Protocol, an FPS bow shooter with parkour where the player escapes a simulation while a sarcastic AI robot taunts them relentlessly. The jam theme was "IT WON'T DIE".
The game combines precision shooting with fast platforming, all wrapped in comedic narration: the AI robot harasses the player at every obstacle. Out of 17 submissions, Giddy Protocol took 1st place Sound Design, 2nd place Gameplay, and 2nd place Overall.
Community feedback was unanimous: the level of polish was surprising for a two-week game, with special mentions for the sound design and the AI robot. The gameplay was described as fast and addictive, solid enough to finish in one sitting.
