Digital Transformation
Beauceboeuf
A butcher shop in the Beauce region. We've been building their digital infrastructure since 2022: from hosting fixes to a full e-commerce platform with AI-powered accounting.
Cookbook & SEO
2026We added a recipe blog directly on the site. The idea is straightforward: someone searches "braised beef recipe" on Google and lands on Beauceboeuf. Each recipe includes structured data so it shows up as a Rich Snippet with the photo, ingredients, and prep time.
Everything is managed through the existing admin CMS. The manager creates and publishes recipes on their own, no call to us needed. We also set up proper social sharing embeds so recipes look good when shared on Facebook or Instagram.
We gave the dashboard controls for featured products and recipes on the homepage. The manager picks what goes on the front page based on seasons, promotions, or new arrivals. The homepage became a real dynamic storefront.

UX Redesign & Shop
2026The whole site got a fresh coat of paint. Every page was redesigned with a bold look that actually matches the Beauceboeuf identity.
The big piece: we turned the online ordering into a DoorDash-style experience. You browse the catalog, add what you want to your cart, and check out in a few clicks. No more waiting at the counter for regular orders. You order at your pace and just pick up.
We also migrated the entire database to Supabase and covered the codebase with tests.

Quickbooks MCP
2026Beauceboeuf runs a complex accounting setup: wholesale invoicing, retail sales, online payments. The administrative load was massive.
Instead of building multiple custom integrations between our tools and Quickbooks (expensive and brittle), we jumped ahead to agentic development.
We built a dedicated Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. It defines the resources and tools from the Quickbooks API so an LLM agent can turn a plain text prompt into real actions (creating quotes, sending invoices) directly in the accounting software.
The result: our CMS can now smoothly push event submissions into Quickbooks, and the accounting team can interact with the MCP using natural language to automate their repetitive work.
Event Management
2025With the database in place, we integrated a full catering events module into both the public site and the CMS. The goal was to structure a quote request process that used to be heavy and manual. Customers can now browse the menu online and submit a precise request for one of 4 event types: Mechoui, Cold Buffet, Lunch Box, or Bar.
In catering, response speed is everything for conversion. So we built a bidirectional email notification system. As soon as a request is sent, the customer gets a styled confirmation with their full selected menu. At the same time, the manager gets the complete request with a magic link to review, complete, and send back the quote without delay.
We also built a parallel product request system. This module familiarizes users with online ordering and laid the groundwork for the future: full online checkout to reduce the line at the physical butcher shop.

Admin CMS
2025After the site rebuild, everything was fast but static. The product list was hardcoded. Every time the client wanted to change a price or add a product, they had to call us. To give them back control, we built a full custom CMS.
We set up a complete admin dashboard secured with Auth0 and role-based access control (RBAC), powered by a MongoDB database.
Now the client has full autonomy: they manage the products displayed on the public site and handle the meat box bundles on their own. Beyond the independence gained, this foundation was exactly what we needed for the next big iteration, the catering events module.

Website Rebuild
2024Despite the Cloudflare CDN, cyberattacks kept finding cracks in the WordPress stack. The client was managing site maintenance himself with good intentions, but the mental load was getting too heavy.
He gave us full control of his web presence. We dropped WordPress entirely in favor of Next.js and Tailwind, with a complete visual redesign and an architecture that's fast and secure by design.
What makes this project special: the rebuild happened at the same time we were setting up our own Kubernetes infrastructure. We had just spun up our first dedicated VPS in Quebec. So we hosted the new site on our own infrastructure, cutting 100% of the traditional cloud provider costs.

“Our WordPress site kept going down. We built solid tech foundations instead of scrapping everything. The result: a progressive migration, a fast storefront, and tools that let us serve our busy customers. We finally have the right tools to move forward!”
WordPress Hosting
2022The WordPress site on their old host kept crashing. The client had to call them constantly to reset the server, often in the middle of the night, which was paralyzing the business.
We took the existing WordPress site and migrated it to a dedicated DigitalOcean droplet with a Cloudflare CDN in front. The results were immediate: attacks stopped cold and we proactively blocked waves of malicious traffic from Russia, China, and Iran.
On top of the peace of mind, hosting costs dropped from about $28/month down to $6.
A simple problem, but this is what started the whole business relationship.
